Aalynex is a marketplace that connects YouTube and social media creators with professional video editors. Creators post a project with a budget and deadline, pick an editor, chat with them directly, and pay only through a secure escrow. No agencies, no middlemen.
Two kinds of people. Creators who need consistent, high quality edits without hunting for freelancers on Instagram DMs, and professional editors who want a steady stream of paid work with guaranteed payment.
No. Creating an account is completely free for both creators and editors. You only pay when you actually hire someone and fund a project.
Click Get Started, choose whether you are a Creator or a Freelancer, enter your name, email, phone and a password, then verify your email with the OTP we send you. It takes under two minutes.
Each account has one role so that your dashboard, payouts and notifications stay clean. If you genuinely need both sides, sign up with a second email address.
Creators and editors from anywhere can browse and collaborate. Payments and payouts are currently processed in INR through Razorpay, so international users should keep the currency in mind before funding a project.
From your creator dashboard click New Project, describe what you need edited, set your budget and deadline, attach your raw footage or a drive link, and publish. Editors can then apply or you can invite one directly.
Browse editor profiles to see their skills, past work, ratings and completed project count. You can open a public profile to view their portfolio before committing, and you can chat with them before releasing any money.
Yes. Editors you have worked with appear in your managed editors list, so you can assign new projects to them in one click without going through the discovery flow again.
Do not approve the delivery. Send your revision notes in the project chat and the editor can rework it. Funds stay in escrow until you are satisfied, so you are never forced to accept work you did not ask for.
Absolutely. You can run multiple projects in parallel, each with its own editor, budget, chat thread and deadline. Everything is tracked separately on your dashboard.
Yes. You own the footage you upload and the final edited output. Editors deliver the files to you and do not retain any usage rights unless you agree otherwise in writing.
Sign up as a Freelancer, complete your profile with your skills, experience and portfolio links, upload a resume or showreel, and add your payout details. A complete profile ranks higher when creators browse editors.
No. Joining and applying to projects is free. Aalynex only takes a commission from the project value once a payment is successfully released to you.
When the creator funds a project the money sits in escrow. Once you deliver and the creator approves, your share is released to the payout details saved in your profile. You can see every transaction in your payments section.
Because the money is already held in escrow before work starts, a creator going quiet does not mean you lose your payment. Raise it with support and we will review the chat and delivery history.
Yes. You decide which projects are worth your time and you can negotiate the budget with the creator in chat before the project is funded.
There is no hard limit, but your on time delivery rate is visible to creators. Only take on what you can genuinely finish within the agreed deadline.
It means the creator pays upfront but the editor does not receive the money immediately. Funds are held in escrow by the platform and are only released once the creator approves the final edit. Both sides are protected.
All methods supported by Razorpay, including UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and popular wallets.
The payout is triggered the moment the creator marks the project as approved. Until then the amount stays locked in escrow.
Give it a minute and refresh, since bank confirmations can lag. If it still shows unpaid, contact support with your Razorpay payment ID and we will reconcile it manually. No payment ever goes missing.
We strongly advise against it. Off platform payments lose you escrow protection, dispute support and payment history, and violate our terms of use.
Your payments section lists every transaction with the project name, amount, date and status, for both creators and editors.
Creators pay a small platform fee on top of the project budget at checkout, and a commission is deducted from the editor's payout. The exact amounts are always shown on the payment screen before you confirm.
That fee covers payment gateway charges, escrow handling and platform infrastructure. It is displayed clearly at checkout so you always know the final amount before paying.
The editor sees the agreed project budget and their own net payout after commission. Complete transparency on both sides is the goal.
No hidden charges. Everything is per project unless you voluntarily subscribe to a premium plan, which is billed separately and can be cancelled anytime.
Premium unlocks extra visibility and platform perks depending on your role. You can compare plans on the pricing screen inside your dashboard before subscribing.
Yes. You can cancel from your account settings at any time and you will keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
That depends on the deadline you set. Editors on Aalynex handle everything from 24 hour rush jobs to longer custom timelines. The deadline is agreed before the project is funded.
Attach files directly to the project or share a cloud drive link in the project chat. Large files are handled through secure cloud storage, so you do not need to compress or split them.
Revisions are agreed between you and your editor when the project is created. Most editors include a reasonable number of rounds. Put it in writing in the chat so both sides are clear.
Raise it in the chat first, since most delays get sorted quickly. If the editor stops responding, contact support and we will step in. Your funds remain in escrow the entire time.
If work has not started, contact support and the escrowed amount can be returned. If the editor has already put in significant work, we will help both sides reach a fair resolution.
The editor uploads the final delivery to the project, and you can download it directly from the project page or the chat thread.
Yes. Direct chat is one of the core features. You can discuss the brief, style references, timeline and budget before any money changes hands.
Yes, messages appear instantly and you can see when the other person is online. You also get a notification badge for unread messages.
Yes. You can share reference clips, thumbnails, scripts and links right inside the conversation, so nothing gets lost across WhatsApp and email.
You get an in app badge for unread messages, and important project events are also sent to your registered email address.
Yes. Every conversation is stored against the project, which also serves as a record if a dispute ever needs to be reviewed.
Open your dashboard sidebar and go to Profile. You can update your name, photo, bio, skills, portfolio links and payout details at any time.
Editors get a shareable public profile page showing their skills, portfolio and stats. You can send that link to potential clients even outside the platform.
Use the sun and moon toggle in the top navigation bar. Your choice is remembered on that device for your next visit.
Use the forgot password option on the login screen and we will email you a reset link.
Contact support and we will help you move your account to a new email while keeping all your projects and history intact.
Reach out to support. We will close your account once any active projects are settled and no funds are pending in escrow.
Yes. Card and UPI details are handled entirely by Razorpay, a PCI DSS compliant payment gateway. Aalynex never sees or stores your card number.
Only you and the editor assigned to that project. Files are stored in private cloud storage and served through expiring secure links.
No. Your data is used to run the platform and nothing else. We do not sell or rent user information to third parties.
Editors verify their email and complete a detailed profile with portfolio work. Ratings and completed project history build up publicly over time, so quality is visible.
Project conversations are visible only to the two participants. Support can review a thread only when one of you raises a dispute.

If work never started, or the editor did not deliver at all, the escrowed amount is returned to you. Partial situations are reviewed case by case using the chat and delivery history.
Once approved, refunds are processed back to your original payment method. Banks usually take five to seven working days to reflect it.
Report it from the project page or contact support. We review the project brief, chat history and delivered files before taking a decision.
Contact support with the project link and details. We take fraud, abuse and off platform payment requests seriously and act on them.
